The Dark Office series represents the nihilism, pointlessness and dehumanizing nature of corporate environments, and the toll it takes on the human spirit. Corporations exert enormous pressure on its inhabitants to conform and limit individuality; to exist in such an environment, the self must be sacrificed for the greater good, namely the prosperity of the corporation.
